I Know You're Out There–My Counters are Ticking

I have a request, and (I truly appreciate your visits!), this seems the most appropriate place to make it. (It makes me so happy as my counters tick upwards!)

A few people a day, nothing overwhelming, but a few people with taste, are visiting all three of my sites. But I have no idea who most of you are, because most of you don’t sign the guestbook on Sarge, and you don’t comment on the blog, and you don’t send me feedback. Now, that is, of course, your prerogative. And as I’ve said, I’m just glad you visited at all.

I want to make an invitation, I suppose. Please feel free (not compelled…drat it!) to leave your comments anywhere I’ve left you the opportunity. As an attempting-to-be-published writer, of course, the site I’m most interested in hearing about is the other Naked In Public, where I’ve posted a short story. (See link at left, or maybe right, if I decide to move the gutter…)

Yes, I’m aware it’s…intense. But that’s why my Marine is the way she is, and if she weren’t intense, she wouldn’t have lasted long! My ex-Marine, I mean, I keep forgetting to make that clear. Thanks, Bob! No, really. I mean it. :::Growls over extra work, refuses to admit should have checked.:::

And if you haven’t checked out the Sarge Marcori homepage, give it a shot! I’m biased, of course, but I think I’ve collected some great links, to stuff on my favorite authors, movies, tv shows, etcetera, as well as some imagination-inspiring photos at the Hubble Heritage Project.

I can take criticism, so if you hate Slime the First (the story on the other Naked) tell me. But tell me why, please, that’s what makes it constructive criticism! 🙂

When I feel enough people have read it, I plan to replace it, or maybe just post another… (place bread crumbs in straight line leading to–you’ll see!)

Oh, and if you want a response, please tell me so! I’m not sure what’s polite–as you may have gathered from the heading, I’m new to this. So if you don’t ask for an answer, I’ll assume you want to leave a no-strings comment. Hey, no pressure here…
