Color-Coded for Maximum Confusion!

Actually the goal is not confusion! I like my flight manual colorful, is all. And it’s not really color-coded, just…colorful. (Pay no attention to the super-huge discs. That’s just me being a doofus. On realizing that my flight manual was close to outgrowing the 3/4-inch size my notebook came with, I decided i should just […]

Zucchini Down! Ayooga! Zucchini Down!

I have (had) no idea. One zucchini seedling just started shriveling, one of its two first leaves (that aren’t actually leaves, I know) and then the other. Now it’s gone. Today in gardening news: One of my zucchini plants has a flower! I’m so excited. Roomie has been taking over the house with her sourdough starter, but

This Week in KD News

The book-writing goes on. I went back and did scene cards (Scene: Goal, Conflict, Disaster. Sequel: Reaction, Dilemma, Decision) and realized in the doing what I already knew–the beginning was really floppy, because as I wrote it I had no idea where I was going. I have a little better idea now, and I need that foundation, so I wrote some scenes for the beginning.
