Another long day of getting very little accomplished. I’ve been to the technical help chat four times today, eight times total, and my mail center still doesn’t load right. I deleted files as I was asked, it didn’t help. I cleared text, fonts and graphics, didn’t help. I uninstalled and reinstalled my ISP software, and it still isn’t working right. Now I lost my Barry White voice announcing mail, and he’s not listed in the downloads anymore, and all for nothing.
I spent five hours at DES today, ’cause I won’t get a paycheck till end of August.  They told me to apply for unemployment . But the pamphlet they gave me clearly states that school employees returning in the fall are not eligible for unemployment. Does anyone read anything anymore, does anyone really know how to help when you’re in over your head?
I give up. I’m going to go write. If my ISP crashes, that’s okay. It’s free, and I have other free offers. I’ll just go to a provider that actually works.
For most of the five hours at DES, (fell asleep for one hour, yes, in one of those horrible chairs) I was reading and editing my ms. So today wasn’t a total waste.
