The rain came again. It avoided the office this time, though, to drip happily into Bly’s bedroom (down the wall and onto her alarm clock) and mine (pouring onto the floor and dripping on my new comforter!)
I never finished the last six pages of One-Pass Revision. I was pondering adding some five pages to make another chapter (it was either add five pages or take out one, and I couldn’t decide) and then HP:DH came along and suddenly I could care less about editing.
After my whinge this morning, I managed to haul myself back to my own work. Since I still hadn’t decided on that chapter, I continued putting my revisions in the computer. Since then I’ve added over three thousand words, and gotten through seventy of (originally) 110 pages. And I’ve got some ideas for expanding that scene into a chapter.
So I may yet be done with this before I go back to work. w00t!!!!
