Six Sentence Sunday: Meet Joss

Six Sentence Sunday: Meet Joss

His Faithful Squire is out in two weeks, but I’ve teased a lot from that book, so I thought I’d offer someone else. This is from a just-for-fun story I wrote, Fanged Bunny Slippers, that I may or may not share elsewhere sometime soon. Joss Ravid has a book of his own, but it doesn’t have a publication date yet. (Yes, it is Dream’verse: Joss took lessons from Taro some years after the events of Knight Errant.)

Right now, though, Joss just showed up for work in pajamas that are clearly not his.

Cooper stomped her feet; Wendon put two fingers in her mouth and whistled. The meeting went from briefing to strip club as Joss rolled a shoulder and struck a pose, then clutched his pants a centimeter before they slipped off slim hips.

“Take it off!” Cooper yelled. Wendon whooped and waved cash. Joss shook his head.

“Sorry. No pole, no dance,” he shot back, and stalked to the front where he poked Reinhart out of his usual seat.

(Aaaannnnd I forgot to get on the list. Whoops! Ah well. That means I don’t feel bad about publishing early so I can go to bed.)
