I do not have volumes 6 and 7. I jumped to conclusions. I have volume 7, and a DVD I ordered two weeks after I ordered the books. Except it’s not the right DVD, it is a dubbed anime, WITHOUT the Japanese track, and without subtitles. I ask you, who even makes DVDs in only one language?
You don’t want to hear the rant of what makes subbed (subtitled) infinitely better than dubbed (English voice actors replacing the original voices.) Trust me, you just don’t want to hear it. Go try it for yourself, compare, say, Armitage III (watch out, it’s intense) the Japanese version, and the one with what’s-her-face and Keifer Sutherland. That’s all you’ll need.
Anyway. Sigh. I am tired and sore, and wanting to take a break from Donte. So I thought I would go take a lovely bubblebath, and read my books (they don’t take long) and get the whole thing out of my system, leaving me more than two days to get Donte done. Only now I’m tired, sore, and annoyed as hell, and there’s no mail for the next two days…argh.
