Yes, I am trying harder. I’m not shooting for a number of pages a day, or a chapter a week or anything. I’m shooting for two hours, most days a week, with my ass in the chair and WordPerfect running. Whether it’s Queen or Garth Brooks blaring from the speakers is a matter of mood–but my tail will be in place, at least five days a week, for at least two hours.
Otherwise I may as well just give up, and hope to be published posthumously.
