Dizzy

Dizzy is not good.  I can’t think of a single instance where it is good.  Of course, that’s just me.  I know lots of people like to get messed up.  I don’t.

Especially when I’m just sitting here, minding my own business, IMing BJ and writing Keen, and my head starts spinning like  Super Grover doing a costume change.  (hmm, has someone seen a bit too much Sesame Street?  I’m thinking yes.)

As you might guess, I was a bit annoyed.  I’ve got too much to do, and not enough summer to do it in, to go getting dizzy for no reason.  I put my head down for a few minutes (no couch, and my bedroom is too far away, I won’t hear what Hope is up to, so I do my napping at my desk), I drank water, I ate, I drank some caffeine…I developed a headache too, and took acetominophen…

Through it all, though, I kept writing.  ‘Cause I’m just not going to let some damn spinning universe get in the way.  Today’s total is 12,333 words, which is more than 2,000 since yesterday.  Go me!

Yes, I feel better now.  Eventually things slowed down, then went back to normal.  Or what passes for normal around here, anyway.
