Exhaustion Always Wins

Chapter 6 was all I got edited today.  My wild lifestyle finally caught up with me.  Of course, I’d figured that would happen eventually, and planned for a nap.  But just as I was signing off this wonderful causer of insomnia, hubby woke from his nap.  No problem, he can have the computer for a while, he’s always saying he’d like a turn, right before I throw something at him for breaking my concentration…

Anyway.  It was a problem, because what he wanted was to go swimming.  No, he wanted all of us to go swimming.  And before I could explain how tired I was, he woke the munchkin from her nap, and promised her we were all going swimming.  So we went swimming.  Can’t make a liar out of daddy, can we?

I did work for several hours tonight.  But when the words are dancing on the page to the tune of your crossing eyes, it’s a little hard to work quickly.  So, chapter 6.  I’m glad I managed that much.

I also managed to change my screen background to winter, and load some Christmas Carols in the cd player.  112 degrees tomorrow, maybe.  Bring it on.
