Last night Hope and I watched the International Space Station sail across our sky. It was absolutely the coolest thing I have ever seen. I kept telling Hope, “There are astronauts living in that dot of light RIGHT NOW!” So she waved!
The site where I found the time of our flyby (NASA website) says you should be able to see some structural detail with a good set of binoculars. I’ve added that to my list for the First Paycheck, though it will probably get pushed back to the Second Paycheck, or maybe even the Third.
I hope and believe Chris is in a better place. But sometimes I just gotta stick my tongue out at him, and remind him he chose to leave this really cool, fascinating, exhilarating place. (And he didn’t even get to see Spidey and Doc Ock! He was SO looking forward to that movie. Nyah nyah!) See what you get?
