Gotta love gadgets and gizmos.
I got my tax return Thursday. Most of it needs to go to a new car, but I decided I could spend a little of it. Best Buy has been calling me.
So now I have a new digital camera. It’s the cheapest one they had, but it’s a Fuji and it has everything I am ever likely to need. Including a case, batteries, and a recharger. And I’m very, very happy with it. No more futzing with film and remembering to buy it, no more ‘have to get it developed and put on CD before I can share so you’ll be lucky to see a Christmas pic before Halloween.’
Bly got her refund too, so today was a major shopping expedition. We have reconfirmed my hatred of the mall. Before long my head was throbbing, and at every throb the noise was louder and the people more obnoxious. I did buy two shirts, (on sale at Lane Bryant) and a book (on clearance at Walden) and some dark-chocolate-covered-espresso beans. (not on sale, but honestly…did you think I would NOT buy them?) Bly got a haircut she really needed, and I got a Tigger mug I really didn’t.
And I came home with money. Go me!
