No, I haven’t started the One-Pass Revision thingy yet. Partly because I’m a coward, but mostly because I need to clear the decks. So I did some housework, gave the dog a haircut, etcetera.
I’m going to do it. I’m not going to stop in the middle because I let everything get out of hand again.
In my breaks from domesticity, I read more articles Holly Lisle wrote on writing. One of them, Quitting Your Day Job, was a reality check I could have done without for a while longer. Is it true you pay a lot more in taxes if you’re self-employed? Why is that? So we can give those poor corporations a tax-break? I think I’ve mentioned before, something’s messed up here.
