Way to Bow to the Morons, Guys

A plan to provide hospice counseling and other end-of-life advice to patients and their families is being dropped by US Senate health care negotiators after critics charged that it would lead to the formation of federal “death panels,’’ a key GOP senator said yesterday.

  1. This is the exact reason I have a 92 year old grandmother that doesn’t want to go in a nursing home. (Well, that and “This is why I had kids”) she doesn’t know her options.

    Oh well, another day another dollar…. or something…

    1. This makes me wonder if some people have ever talked to the grandparents they’re so worried about. I can tell you, if anyone tried to push MY grandmother into something she didn’t want…it’d probably be much like your grandma’s reaction to being pushed (even when it’s someone who loves her and wants what’s best for her doing the persuading). 😉
