I actually finally posted another chapter of Shades and Hues. I really intend to stay more on top of it this time. Honest.

In other news, another crummy day at work. I’m thinking (again) about a new job. Problem is, I’m really very much in love with my many and varied vacations, holidays, and plain old days off. I’m afraid I’ll never write again if I’m too tired from working all the time.
Something has to change; I know that. I keep hoping that change will be getting published. Really, just a bit more income could make such a difference. I could move down to a lesser job. I’m not trying to make a mint (though I wouldn’t complain…), I just want less stress. I’m even willing to take a pay-cut to get it, for heaven’s sake! It’s just–that I can’t actually afford to make less money. The kid and I float along just fine, but–well, they say you can drown in just two inches of water.
But, as usual, I’m too tired to really get into the situation tonight. *sigh*
