Isn’t that the saying? Well-begun is half done?

So yesterday I read the whole way through Donte. The fact I could read it easily in one day is a problem. It’s way too short. But we knew that.
It’s a good story. I can certainly see it hauling people in, and hopefully not letting them go. But it has to be longer. And while I can think of a few scenes that I could add, I can’t imagine adding 22K to it.
Meh. I’m not worrying about it tonight. I got the kitchen in good order, got my car running (new battery, $50. ~sigh~), spent two hours at work, made dinner (dilled salmon–it was not yummy. Sigh again.) Tomorrow I’ll toss Donte to the wolves (One-Pass Revision is vicious) and see how much survives.
Tonight I’m going to bed.
