I’m tracking my manuscript online. It’s fun, but what I really need, is to be able to track it once it arrives at DAW. As in:
12/1/04 Logged In, 2:27 pm
12/2/04, not yet opened
12/3/04, still not opened
12/17/04, taken home by first reader, not yet opened.
12/18/04, 5:10 p.m. first reader’s date cancelled, ms opened.
12/19/04, 2:04 a.m., first reader still reading.
12/19/04, 3:14 a.m., first reader cursing author, unable to put ms down.
12/20/04, first reader collars submissions editor, forces him to begin reading…
