NaNo 2013, Day One

NaNo 2013, Day One

This morning I started right off typing, but I only got to 104 words before I had to go to work. Then I came home, made dinner, did a few other things that really needed doing, joined my friends in my Friday night chat that I rarely miss for about the last seven years…and then when that was done I got to typing.

1682 words in one counter. 1700 in another. Either way I’m happy. Favorite bit written today?

“The kindling binds a Keeper’s sword to his soul,” Kez said as Hiro ran the cloth up the side of his blade. “So you know you’re stroking yourself in public, right?”

So far so good. Just gotta remember to keep my mind on the story, and my hand off the mouse.

Tonight I put a dirty sock on it to keep from clicking away without thinking.
