Brotherly Love

So I was putting clothes away a while ago, since I tend to pile them around my room when I’m in a hurry/feeling lazy. Maybe twenty minutes later, I hear my cat playing with the closet door as he likes to do, but maybe a little more fervent about it.

I look over, and Ravenclaw is sitting staring at the closet door. Not a paw on it. So I don’t hiss at him to stop beating on stuff.

Noise starts again. I look over. Ravenclaw, sitting and staring.

Then I notice a paw coming under the door from the inside.

Ravenclaw is not playing. He is laughing at his not-so-bright adopted brother. Menace has got his dumb self shut in the closet.

I blame my current obsession Tom Hiddleston for the fact that I considered renaming them Thor and Loki. 😀

  1. *snerk*

If Reidar ever got shut in the closet (which due to storage space constraints in my room never has the doors shut) I wouldn’t see paws. I’d hear body slamming and heaven help us the YOWLING that would come out of the boy. It happened ONCE in the past, when he got into my roommate’s closet by mistake. She freaked out. I started laughing so hard I almost hurt myself. Then I let the moron out of the closet.

  2. that sounds like my cat if you put him in a pillowcase. I only have one cat carrier, so when I move I tie the other in a pillowcase for the (probably five-minute) drive. omilork, the YOWLING! I’ve never had a cat who didn’t yowl! That’s why I’ve always wondered at the phrase “let the cat out of the bag.” How did they not know there was a cat IN the bag??
