Okay, so I finagled a bit and other bits have some pretty shoddy story-telling going on, but it’s okay. It’s a first draft–it’s supposed to be crap. What matters is that it’s done. Now I can improve it!
Well, not now. Tomorrow. I hope. Friday and Saturday are taken, and I expect to be exhausted Sunday and there’s also grocery shopping, and the story is due October 3rd.
None of that matters, though. I am done, and I have time to edit, and I love this story. 🙂
