Tail of a Kitty

Tail of a Kitty

Menace the cat jumped into my lap. I petted him and put him down. He came back. I petted him, put him down. He came back. I petted him, put him down, and got up to get a drink, hoping he’d go find a place to nap before I returned.

He meowed at me and ran ahead, where normal Menace behavior is to twine through my legs in an attempt to knock me down where he can snuggle me to death. (Cats are dangerous animals for this reason.) I followed.

Menace led me to the closed door of the child’s room. I opened it, and he slipped in to begin her morning harassment.

I love cats. ^__^

  1. LOL Reidar does something similar. He knows what time the alarms go off for me & my husband. He knows when we’re supposed to be up. He also knows the exact moment when getting in our way would irritate us the most and that’s when he jumps up onto the desk to get in front of the monitor. Or sits on the book we’re reading.

    Cats are wonderful.
